AMS SMT meeting visual

The American Musicological Society (AMS) is holding its 89th Annual Meeting jointly with the Society for Music Theory (SMT) on 9-12 November 2023 in Denver, Colorado at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel.

Founded in 1934, AMS is a non-profit organization committed to advancing “research in the various fields of music as a branch of learning and scholarship.” The 2023 AMS Annual Meeting is a forum for the exploration of music and musicology and is made possible by the support and voluntary service of AMS committee members on the Committee on the Annual Meeting and Public Events, Program Committee, and the Performance Committee.

I will be a co-presenter during the “Disability Identity in Music Scholarship” Disability Committee Panel, organized by my colleagues Elizabeth McLain, from Virginia Tech, and Andrew Dell’Antonio, from University of Texas at Austin.
