Hello friends, I didn’t have the time to post during the organ festival, lots of things happened! It is now over but not completely, there are still some musical activities happening this week and next week. Before I give you an account of the festival, here are some pictures I took this weekend in the city. St. Gallen is a beautiful medieval town in Switzerland.
This is the old city centre, some views on places, the Cathedral, the St. Laurenzen church where the festival took place.
And here are some views on the heights of the city, taken from the Drei Weieren (Three Ponds), a popular place of the city with three natural ponds to swim and stunning views on the city and Lake Constance. The first two photos show the waterfall along the funicular that leads to a higher part of the city. The hike to the Drei Weieren is quite hilly but it is worth the effort.
More news soon! Take care 🙂
